Missing Out on Life

How long has it been since you could hear?

Millions struggle to follow conversations even with premium hearing aids, yet a quick outpatient implant can restore clear, natural sound and reconnect you to life.

Why Do Hearing Aids Stop Helping?

Most hearing aids only turn sounds up. If inner-ear hair cells are badly damaged or “dead zones” form, louder sound stays distorted—words still blur.

As loss advances, background noise overwhelms, conversations exhaust you, and even premium aids fall short. A cochlear implant bypasses those cells, stimulating the hearing nerve directly to restore clarity.

Stop settling for volume without understanding—take the step toward clear hearing.

This is probably the best run doctor’s office we’ve been to. We came for an appt for my husband and he was taken 10 min early (when does that happen?).

Cochlear Implant

A cochlear implant is an outpatient procedure that bypasses damaged inner-ear cells, sending sound directly to the hearing nerve so you can follow conversations, phone calls, and music again.

It’s minimally invasive, FDA-approved, and chosen by more than a million people who were ready for clarity beyond what hearing aids could give

How a Cochlear Implant Works

A cochlear implant is a minimally-invasive outpatient procedure that restores clear hearing when aids no longer help.

Through a tiny incision behind the ear, a slim electrode array is gently threaded into the cochlea and a mini receiver is seated under the skin. An external sound processor then captures sound, converts it to digital signals, and directly stimulates the hearing nerve—bypassing damaged hair cells.

The surgery is brief with little downtime; most patients go home the same day and begin hearing new clarity within a few weeks.

Common Questions

How long does the procedure take and what’s the recovery like?

The surgery takes about 90 minutes, and most people go home the same day. Light activity is fine in 1–2 days; the implant is activated 2–4 weeks later with minimal downtime.

Will insurance cover this procedure?

In most cases, yes. Cochlear implants are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and the majority of private plans when medically necessary. Our team will verify and explain your benefits.

Does cochlear implant surgery hurt?

You’ll be asleep under general anesthesia, so you won’t feel anything during the operation. Afterwards, most patients report only mild soreness around the incision, manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.

The surgery was simple and recovery time quick. There were no complications. I'm very happy with the results, now able to hear things I wasn't able to before and not having to turn up music or the TV to levels that bothered others. It really was life altering....for the better.
